What Our Residential Customers Say

"High-Tech Heating was fast and affordable when servicing our furnace. I have already recommended them to family members."

-Mary M.

 ~Great Work-Excellent Service~
"Shawn  from High Tech installed a new heating and A/C unit for us. He was very  professional and took his time to make sure it was done right. He did a  great job and are happy with his work. We would highly recommend him."  -Michael D.

"We  hired High-Tech to check out our furnace because it was not running  optimally. Instead of just recommending we replace our furnace they were  able to tune it up and now it is back to running great. Thanks for the  quick and honest service."  -Jake S.

"After using other big Heating and Cooling Companies over the years and  being very unhappy with them, we tried High Tech. I can tell you that their reviews are accurate. I had them come out to fix my furnace. They fixed it and also fixed a mistake that another company had made when  they installed the furnace. They tuned up our other furnace and fixed our gas fireplace that hadn’t worked right for the last couple months. They were quick, thorough, professional and were VERY reasonable."  -James M.

"Shawn was very responsive and showed me what was wrong with my furnace. He was a very professional HVAC contractor and came when we needed heat for our carpet installation. I appreciate good professional service. I plan to use him in the future."  -Phil P., Salt Lake City UT

"Shawn is the best contractor that  we have ever had work on our houses. He has done three systems for us  and we are thrilled with the results. He has been creative with hundred  year old houses that had never had HVAC. In one he actually ran the  vents through the old chimneys, saving us demolition and framing costs. I  would recommend his work with 100% confidence. His price and service  are second to none and he worked with us on every part of the project. I  can't wait to use his company again!"  -Andy V.

Energy Savings Tips

  • Set your programmable thermostat as low as is comfortable in the  winter and as high as is comfortable in the summer, and — depending on  the season — raise or lower the setpoint when you’re sleeping or away  from home.
  • Clean or replace filters on furnaces and air conditioners once a month or as recommended.
  • Clean warm-air registers, baseboard heaters, and radiators as needed; if unsure about how to perform this task, contact us!
  • Place heat-resistant radiator reflectors between exterior walls and the radiators.
  • Turn off kitchen, bath, and other exhaust fans within 20 minutes  after you are done cooking or bathing; when replacing exhaust fans,  consider installing high-efficiency, low-noise models.
  • During winter, keep the draperies and shades on your south-facing  windows open during the day to allow the sunlight to enter your home and  closed at night to reduce the chill you may feel from cold windows.
  • During summer, keep the window coverings closed during the day to block the sun’s heat.

  • Select energy-efficient products when you buy new heating and  cooling equipment. We can provide energy fact sheets for different  types, models, and designs to help you compare energy usage.
  • For furnaces, look for high Annual Fuel Utilization (AFUE) ratings.  The national minimum is 78% AFUE, but there are ENERGY STAR models on  the market that exceed 90% AFUE. For air conditioners, look for a high  Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER). The current minimum is 13 SEER  for central air conditioners. ENERGY STAR models are 14.5 SEER or more.
